Eyebrow waxing is a way of removing unwanted hair, either as a cool or hot wax. Cold wax strips are pieces of pre-waxed and ready-to-use muslin or cellulose strips that are pre-cut to different sizes based on the areas where they're designed to be used. This approach is known as “cold wax” since it doesn't have to be heated, unlike hot wax, which requires heat. Most cold wax strips need to be warmed slightly involving the palms of one's hands. Each wax strip has two sides: one side offers the pre-wax and the other has a clear layer that really needs to be removed in order to expose the wax.
Hot wax is the most used approach to removing body hair and can be used on facial hair. The hot wax is put on a small area of your skin with unwanted hair and in the direction of hair growth. Whilst the wax cools, it melts onto the most truly effective layer of skin and grips at each hair strand. After the wax is applied, a material strip is put on the wax and pressed down firmly. After 2-3 seconds, the cloth strip is quickly pulled off in the opposite direction of hair growth. Eyebrow Waxing : Step by Step Procedure
Just like a brow threading session, every eyebrow waxing procedure at Thebrowfixx begins with a customer consultation. After determining your brow needs, your beauty artist will likely then cut the cold wax strips into mini-strips. Then the artist will warm the strips gently by rubbing them between his/her hands. Each mini-strip is then separated slowly and firmly pressed on your skin over the desired area. The strip is then pressed on firmly in the direction of hair growth. Finally, the strip is quickly pulled away in the alternative direction of the hair growth. Your artist will complete grooming your brows by trimming any necessary hair with small scissors. Your eyebrow waxing session at Thebrowfixx is complete with a brow massage to soothe the skin.
